Whether we are building a multi-million-dollar industrial facility, bridge structure, electrical or water projects About the Job : A contracts representative serves as a link between the employer and a contractor. They monitor the progress of the contract and ensure it is according to specifications.
They approve invoices and keep administration records. The representative ensures compliance with necessary regulations and compiles inspection reports. Also, they recommend if the contract should be terminated or modified. As a contracts representative, you are responsible for drafting and negotiating contract amendments. You also provide support in terms of communications and administration to the project team as required. To be a contracts representative, you need a bachelor’s degree in project management or a related field. You might want to complete a certification course to increase your chances of getting the job. Besides, you must be proficient in MS Office Coordinate with Site Director and prepare all reports for construction and start up processes and supervise construction of facility and assist in procurement of all third party resources. Supervise all activities to ensure compliance to all safety regulations and achieve all objectives and perform regular assessment on all construction methods and prepare schedule for same. Job Requirements
- Registered Civil engineer must have 15 years experience in high raise building (3 projects of each 11 floors and above).
- Membership of an equivalent Professional Body and Professional Registration.
- Must have worked at this level on at least three (3) similar projects to completion.
- must possess time management, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills. Also, employers prefer you have at least a year of relevant experience
- Develop and ensure effective integration of all entities in coordination with all subcontractors and equipment fabricators and review all process to mitigate all risks and ensure completion of all projects effectively
- Review all project costs and prepare required estimates for all available data and analyze all product expenditures and monitor all change orders effectively.
- Provide technical support to all owners and supervise all civil engineering process and determine progress of all reports in coordination with subcontractors.
