Your day to day

Under the general direction of direct superior of General Manager and within the limits of established InterContinental Hotels Group local policies and procedures, provide guests and hotel resources safety and security. Promotes the desired work culture around the five core values “Winning Ways” of “Do the right thing’, “Show we care”, “Aim Higher”, “Celebrate Difference”, “Work better together” of IHG and the brand ethos.

What we need from you

Responsible Business:
· To maintain health and safety standards of the hotel by reporting all health and safety and security violations for immediate action.
· Spot checking all contractors in the premises to make sure hotel health and safety standards are being followed.
· Well aware of Crowne Plaza Bahrain FLS Manual.
· Well aware of Crowne Plaza Bahrain CRISIS Plan.
· To be well aware of Fire and BT evacuation plan.
· Demonstrate an understanding and an awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety.
· Working with the FLS Committee in planning, implementing and reviewing FLS procedures to ensure all necessary reporting is completed in a timely manner.
· Working with the FLS committee in identifying and establishing audit procedures in the hotel to ensure compliance with FLS Policies, Brand and Operating Standards, Guidelines and local regulations and local regulations (whichever is the more stringent).
· Supervises the identifying of hazardous workplace conditions.
· Directs and coordinates the activities security personnel.
· Ensures that all hotel areas and property are adequately secured at all times.
· Coordinates with outside police agencies in the investigation and handling of crimes, accidents, etc. Involving the hotel, its employees, or guests.
· Prepares daily incident reports, requisitions, and other inter office memos.
· Ensures that all allegations of the crimes and other incidents are investigated and recorded.
· Established comprehensive key controls.
