Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Minimum 6 years of experience in implementation, and maintenance of VMware virtualization infrastructure within an organization

Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere virtualization technologies, including ESXi, vCenter Server, and vSphere networking.

Proficiency in virtual machine management, resource allocation, and performance optimization.

Experience with VMware infrastructure components like vSAN, vMotion, High Availability (HA), and Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS).

Understanding of storage technologies, SAN/NAS concepts, and storage protocols (iSCSI, NFS).

Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtual environments.

Knowledge of virtual network concepts, VLANs, and network security within VMware.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in virtualization and related technologies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) are a plus.
