Job description

This position is a unique opportunity to be involved in solar project and perform O&M activities at multiple sites in Dubai.

Your main duties will be to:-

·         Plan and supervise solar panels cleaning activities using robots and manual brushes

·         Perform daily multiple sites monitoring on Vcom (Meteo Control) monitoring system

·         Fill up work orders and service reports

·         Prepare Monthly Client’s HSE and O&M reports

·         Follow each sites Permit to Work requirements

·         Carries out tool box talks and follows Client’s and Company’s HSE requirements

·         Carries out routine preventive maintenance of electrical and solar equipment according to schedules, check lists and specific equipment requirements.

·         Assists in planning annual shutdown and major equipment turnarounds and carries out a complete overhaul of Electrical equipment.

·         Reassembles and tests equipment in accordance with requirements or tests schedules.

·         Assist in the monitoring of electrical equipment for its healthiness.

·         Strict Adherence to Plants Safety Protocols & Good housekeeping.

·         Contribution to Continuous Improvement by providing suggestions, initiating modifications to

·         Improve Reliability of Equipment/ Process, Improve Safety, Improve Maintainability, Reduce Cost.

·         Maintain history cards for the electrical equipment.

·         Perform Technical investigation to determine the root cause of failure.

·         Responsible for the support of Company Safety, Environment and Quality policies and programs, and carrying out specific duties and responsibilities related to the job as spelt out in

·         Management system documentation, policies, procedures.

·         Prepare each sites Method Statements for cleaning and maintenance activities

Profile

Ideally you will have graduated in Electrical engineering with a minimum experience of 5 years in solar projects.

You are fluent in English.

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
