The IMEAR (Indirect, Middle East, Africa & Russia) region is the department within Global Wholesale Enterprise Networks which is responsible for end-to-end ownership of network infrastructure planning, deployment, and management in a technical & financial dimension. We manage carriers and collaborate with regional teams (Sourcing, Business Unit, CS&O) and entities to design, plan and deploy regional network to guarantee optimal quality of service and maximize both profitability and competitiveness. We are a ‘HYBRID’ team, with a very unique mixture of technical, business and financial responsibilities operating in an AGILE environment driven by empowerment, autonomy, experimentation, transparency, cooperation, adaptation, and flexibility.
As a Network & Services Implementation Project manager you will be accountable for the implementation/deployment of customer migration projects triggered for optimization, organic growth of scalability of the global enterprise network. With stellar project management skills, your execution shall be as efficient as possible to implement with maximum benefit for OBS and its customers with a can-do attitude, strong quality orientation, and cost awareness – all projects supported by this PM are of an international scope and require a very high level of efficiency, cultural awareness and solid knowledge of networking technologies.

As a Network & Services Implementation Project manager your key tasks and activities will span several dimensions:

General:

Contribute to Digital Transformation by supporting Automation of activities in the direction of Big Data management, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science Coordinate & drive the technological transformation of the data/voice networks from legacy to modern technology platforms Maintain overall control of managed projects, priorities, financial performance, and utilization of digital tools Coordinate task/work package distribution including delivery & activity prioritization to cultivate a collaborative and teaming environment Maintain a thorough understanding of the tools, systems and processes required to provide quality provisioning, implementation and change management Manage 3rd party vendors and lively interaction with internal/external stakeholders to orchestrate delivery of implementation activities Multitask effectively multiple projects & align on the priorities with extended GWEN teams Prioritize & effectively handle Optimization projects leading to significant Monthly Recurring Charge (MRC) savings for Orange Business Services Close stakeholder management, engagement, and coordination to achieve common objectives Liaise professionally with multiple entities to achieve desired results – Sourcing, Sales Operations, and multiple Customer Services & Operations teams Provide clear communication with detailed project scope and clear targets to the Customer Service Managers (CSM) Manage multiple projects and provide clear communication with detailed project scope/status/risks/targets

Infrastructure/Access optimisation :

Deliver stellar project management expertise to serve network optimization projects leading to significant optimization/savings for Orange Business Services Coordinate activities with Sourcing, Operation, Sales, Finance, among others to deliver within budget/deadlines Trigger/manage Renewal/Recommitment projects by establishing direct channels with Customer Service Managers & other procurement teams Trigger/manage projects in OBS workflow tools Report clear & concise on financial & operational project performance

Education, qualification and certifications
Engineering Degree in a Telecommunications specialization Minimum of 1 years of project management experience – Formal accreditation or as Knowledge is a bonus (PMP; PRINCE2) Good Knowledge of Cisco Routers, Juniper, Huawei (Cisco Certifications is a plus) Technical skills & good expertise on ATM, IP, Dial and telecom platforms are highly regarded Language skills: Fluent English required, both spoken and written; Fluent French is a desirable (not mandatory); Fluent Arabic is a bonus (not mandatory) Software Skills: Strong computer literacy & proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Basic scripting/data manipulation/BI skills are desirable (not mandatory) Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies are desirable (not mandatory) Coding experience in Big Data environment (e.g. Python) are desirable (not mandatory)

Essential skills and knowledge

Minimum of 1 years of experience in international telecommunications business/environment. Ability to effectively achieve business success while working in a group of experienced professionals Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands In-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence Ability to be flexible while working in a changing environment; able to manage projects under pressure and think outside the box Ability to operate with autonomy and in a virtual team environment Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level
