Job Description
Procurement Management: (Solar experience is a must)
– Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies specific to solar projects.
– Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for solar equipment, materials, and services.
– Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with project requirements.
– Manage the procurement process, including RFQs (Requests for Quotation), bid evaluations, and purchase orders.
– Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
– Implement procurement best practices and continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
2. Inventory Management:
– Coordinate with project teams to determine project material requirements and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
– Track and manage inventory of solar equipment, ensuring availability and minimizing excess stock.
– Conduct periodic stock audits, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
– Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and efficient storage of materials.
