Job Description
- Prepare and manage project Budget Cost and monthly cost report. Forecast Cost within reports – Project actual cost against the planned cost to provide an accurate forecast. Review of Monthly valuation. Manage variations from the Contract administrator. Review of Final account.
- Review Tender Documents to identify exact requirements and highlight potential issues. Provide detailed measurement of quantities and prepare Bill of Quantities when required. Send out Enquires together with specifications. Preparation Tender Analysis report.
- Review of procurement program/schedule and send inquiries and tender packages to Contractors, Subcontractors, and suppliers so that the appointment of contractor is finalized as per the program. Manage the procurement of the Nominated subcontractor package.
- Review contract documents of the appointed main contractors, nominated subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Attend site meetings with the Contract site team.
- Carry out other duties consistent with the job-holders knowledge and skills for the satisfactory completion of the Project.
Desired Skill & Expertise
- Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 10 years working experience in the construction industry.
- Profound knowledge of the contractual regulations that apply in UAE.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex construction documents.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, as you would often need to liaise with various stakeholders involved in the project.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations is essential.
