Job Description

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager (ASM) to join the Digital Camera Division of Fujifilm Middle East (Dubai Office).

As an ASM, you will be responsible for driving sales within assigned territories in the ME region. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, your goal will be to increase total territory sales by nurturing existing accounts and acquiring new ones. By establishing valuable relationships with customers, maximizing satisfaction, and ensuring territory profitability, you will contribute to the success of Fujifilm’s products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve annual sales goals assigned to the territory.
  • Understand the business requirements of customers and prospects, catering to their current and future needs.
  • Travel regularly to the territory, maintaining effective relationships with key customers and prospects. Position Fujifilm as a valued business partner and yourself as a valuable business resource, offering solutions that benefit both parties.
  • Prospect, sell, and secure orders from existing and potential customers using a relationship-based approach.
  • Utilize various marketing and business resources to discover new prospects and assess their potential.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, logistics, accounting, technical support, and sales management.
  • Provide written and oral feedback to management regarding customer needs, issues, interests, competition, and potential for new products and services.
  • Stay informed about the market sector, product uses, market conditions, technology changes and other relevant requirements.
  • Participate in overseas travel, trade shows, and company functions as required.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the manager.

Skills

Required Skills:

  • Proven sales and territory management experience in the Middle East photographic sector.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team developing and implementing business strategies.
  • Proficient in interacting with and influencing management at various levels within the assigned account base.
  • Demonstrated consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to the territory for sales and marketing activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as post-production software.

Desired Skills:

  • Fluent in Arabic is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge and contacts within the photography industry in the MEA region.
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions and exercise independent judgment.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to travel on short notice.
