Draftsman

Job Description

• Create accurate 2D and 3D drawings based on architectural and civil engineering designs and specifications.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and ensure drawings align with project objectives.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify drawings, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Incorporate revisions and changes into existing drawings as required.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of drawing standards and templates.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure drawings are delivered on time and meet project deadlines.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in architectural and civil engineering drafting techniques and software.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering from a well-known university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Draftsman in architectural or civil engineering projects.
• Proficient in creating 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Strong knowledge of architectural and civil engineering principles, standards, and practices.
• Experience in creating architectural drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections) and civil engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with operation and maintenance projects is preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in both English and Arabic languages, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in producing technical drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
