Civil / Structural Engineer

Job Description

A leading EPC company in Qatar are seeking a Civil / Structural Engineer to support the development of Detail Design, Procurement, Construction, and Startup phases of the Ras Laffan Petrochemicals Project. The Project includes an Ethylene Unit, Polyethylene Units, and related Pipelines. This position will support the pipeline facilities and related port modifications and will be based long term in Qatar through the completion of the project, initially in the Doha engineering offices and later onsite in Ras Laffan. The total duration for this position is expected to be approximately 36 months.

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience leading/working on large pipeline projects, including
engineering and construction activities
• Previous major capital project experience and/or working with an EPC contractor
• Strong commitment to personnel and employee safety
• Knowledge of Industry Standards required
• Capable of managing multiple assignments
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork, leadership, and customer focus
