Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical & Training Manager to lead our technical team and oversee training initiatives within our organization. As a Technical & Training Manager, you will be responsible for managing the technical department, providing technical support, and developing and implementing training programs for our employees. Your primary objective will be to ensure technical excellence, enhance employee skills and knowledge, and drive continuous improvement.Β
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the technical department, ensuring the efficient delivery of technical services and support.
- Provide technical guidance and support to employees, assisting with complex technical issues and ensuring timely resolution.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge in technical areas.
- Identify training needs and gaps through assessments and performance evaluations, and design targeted training solutions to address them.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to determine training objectives, content, and delivery methods, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the development of training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources, to support training programs.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops, utilizing effective training techniques and tools to facilitate learning and skill development.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance reviews, making necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, technological developments, and best practices in the relevant field, incorporating them into training programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, quality control measures, and technical standardization.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, promoting the importance of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Manage and maintain training records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Skills
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the same field, with at least 2 years of experience in the same position.
- University degree in the same field or equivalent.
- Excellent managerial and leadership skills to effectively lead and motivate a technical team and manage training initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with employees, stakeholders, and training participants.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address technical issues, training needs, and performance gaps.
- Ethical mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.
- In-depth technical knowledge and expertise in the relevant field, with the ability to provide guidance and support to employees.
- Experience in developing and implementing training programs, utilizing various delivery methods and instructional techniques.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms for training administration and delivery.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to technical operations and training.
