Job Description
- Daily and immediate monitoring of all company imports at all ports according to purchase and shipping orders from the procurement department, company projects, and related departments, and tracking the sending, arrival, and receipt of the necessary original documents for clearance.
- Arranging and preparing all necessary documents for the clearance of imports before their arrival and following up with relevant departments within the company, shipping agents, clearance companies, suppliers, and any government agency that requires document preparation prior to arrival.
- Organizing and monitoring all transactions and documents related to delivery orders, shipping documents, and permits required for clearance.
- Responsible for reviewing the necessary information and data to complete the customs clearance process with full responsibility for accuracy and correctness.
- Monitoring and preparing all paperwork requirements from the customs department for exemptions and their equivalent.
- Coordinating and daily follow-up with all relevant departments and projects within the company regarding incoming shipments.
- Monitoring and reviewing quotations from local and international shipping and customs clearance companies.
- Following up after the clearance of each incoming shipment with the company’s warehouse management to ensure the shipment matches the documents and invoices.
- The commitment to implement the company’s policies and procedures.
- Any other tasks that assigned to him by the direct manager.
