Job Description

Venari security is looking for a talented Java developer to join our software team to contribute to our Encrypted Traffic Analysis platform development. We build a cutting-edge cyber security solution that helps customers prevent cyber-attacks using data analytics and machine learning.

You will work closely with our Cyber and Data Science teams to build high quality software that brings performance, scalability, and reliability to our products.

As a part of our engineering team, you will have the chance to work with all the latest technologies like AWS cloud infrastructures, Apache big data technologies, IA and data science, web development, etc. You will continue to learn and improve like nowhere else as you push the boundaries of new technologies every day.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging

  • Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code

  • Review and refactor code.

  • Collaborate with the Cyber and Data Science Teams to Design and Implement the product roadmap.

  • Collaborate with DEVOPS engineers to setup and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

  • Act as subject matter expert for software related issues.

  • Mentor other members of the Software team with expertise, industry experience and best practice.

  • Be willing to continuously learn from and teach others on better ways of building and delivering software.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science

  • Strong experience (4+ years) in Java Software Development

  • Solid knowledge of software engineering best practices

  • Service oriented architectures (REST)

  • Experience in high quality software delivery with continuous refactoring, TDD, automated test suites and CI/CD.

Nice to have

  • Data pipelines: CrateDB, ELK, Kafka, Apache Flink

  • Frameworks: Sprintboot, Kotlin, reactjs

  • Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Microservices architecture.
