Primary Job Location
Processing payments on a day-to-day basis of the firms operating expenses along with Month end and year end tasks that include reconciliation of statement of accounts and clearing of outstanding balances on firm Bank reconciliation to maintain smooth flow of expenses.
• Liaising closely with internal stakeholders (Lawyers, sectaries, Admin, HR) on day-to-day accounting and finance matters
Duties & Responsibilities
• Actively supporting all requirements with regards to AP and Cash & Treasury.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly reconciliations for bank accounts
• Liaising closing with cash team and making sure all cheque and wire transfers are allocated appropriately.
• Recording supplier invoices and creating payments
• Ensure proper handling of third-party invoices and making sure all are posted well within the time frame.
• Ensure all payments are made in line with company’s policies and procedures.
• Reviewing relevant approvals for the expense claims and allocating same to the individual payroll file.
• Maintain petty cash and keeping track of this money, to ensure that it is spent as it is intended.
• Maintaining proper internal control to manage Petty Cash.
• Taking lead in discuss issues with Office Manager, with regards to disbursement process.
• Initiating process improvement to minimise cash transaction
