Job Description – Tax Related

  • To provide full taxation support to the management for Corporate Tax, WHT, VAT, Foreign Tax, Tax on Investments etc.
  • Corresponds with all departments to understand business practices and new projects, intercompany transactions and communicates the tax implications of all business practices to senior company managers.
  • Prepare the necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns (Monthly & yearly).
  • To ensure the VAT transactions are applied accurately and consistently across the accounting system based on the local laws.
  • Managing the relationship with the department companies and assisting them with any enquiry.

Job Description – Finance Function

  • Prepare advanced financial analyses to determine the present and forecasted financial health of the company.
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information for managerial staff, while recommending appropriate courses of action.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and compare the company’s performance to business plans.
  • Identification of risk areas and development of internal controls to manage business risk
  • Hands on operational work and other ad hoc tasks.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Oversee the operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and establish a framework for their achievement.
  • Communicate and collaborate with various departments to discuss company plans and align on future paths.
  • Focus on bottom-line results, identify potential risks and monitor the financial impacts
  • Analyze complex issues and problems and come up with rational judgments
  • Prepare, analysis and monitor budgets and reports the finding of the differences to the management along with the action required to overcome the differences.

Skills

  • Master’s degree Equivalent Professional qualification in finance (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
  • Good business understanding and analytical skills
  • Good understanding and efficient with tools such as ERP-SAP, Excel and Power BI (or similar)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to relate well to people at all levels and to establish networks
  • Experience from any Big Four accounting firm is an advantage.
  • 10+ years’ Financial / Management Accounting experience
  • Proven track record in managing teams and developing people
  • Communicate in a clear, precise and structured way
  • Comply to company rules and procedures and execute plans with commitment and determination
  • Act on own initiative, make things happen and accept responsibility for the results
