Job Description

Manpower Planning and Recruitment/Selection

  • Coordinating with concerned HODs for maintaining periodic up to date Organizational

Structures including summary of Position/Grade wise approved versus actual

headcount.

  • Assist in Job Analysis, Evaluation and Grading.

Identification of vacancies and Recruitment planning in coordination with HRAD, HQO

  • Ensure availability of Job Descriptions for unique positions and also periodically update

the same in coordination with HODs.

  • Identify effective internal and external sources (internal job posting, job portals,

recruitment consultants etc.) of recruitment of manpower across all grades and

develop a database of suitable candidates.

  • Complete the end to end process of recruitment, selection and onboarding process, by

complying with relevant regulations and completion of all necessary documentation and

records within minimum lead time.

  • Assist in developing competencies of Interviewers for effective assessment/selection,

implementation of psychometric testing and other tools and Induction program for

new employees.

  • Coordinate with all concerned for mobilization of employees from other sites/countries

as and when required.

  • Ensure performance assessment before completion of probation and issue confirmation

letter in time.

  • Trade Licenses and relevant statutory compliances:
  • Applying and obtaining New Trade/other required Licenses and approvals as and when

necessary

  • Renewal of existing Trade/Other Licenses/approvals.
  • Coordinating with concerned Municipality, Economic Departments and other authorities

for completion of all required statutory compliances related to Projects and normal

operations.

  • Coordinating with Sponsor and Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and

Immigration Authorities as and when required.

HRIS/Time and Attendance/Compensation and Benefits and Employee Records

  • Maintain required details on HRIS (HROPAL) system
  • Completion of all Time and Attendance related inputs (ie. Present/absent days, OT

hours etc.) are provided to HQO for processing payroll of concerned employees.

  • Monitoring absenteeism and taking necessary action to minimize the same.
  • Maintain personal files/records of employees including application for leave and other

benefits as per policy.

  • Provide assistance in timely coverage of employees under Medical and other insurance

and also processing of claims under the same if any, as and when required.

  • Assist in issue of various HR related letters to employees including reassignment,

promotion, increment etc.

  • Process all compensation and benefits related applications received from employees

within minimum lead time i.e. Leave, Air Ticket and other reimbursement as per

applicable HR policies from time to time.

  • Provide periodic and adhoc reports/data related to HRAD as and when required.

Learning & Development

  • Provide assistance in coordination and conducting of technical training by Company and

other Contractors as and when required including planning, scheduling and conducting

of technical programs.

  • Identify technical/behavioral training needs of employees and coordinate with GHRAD

for conducting necessary training programme.

  • Ensure all necessary training related to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) are

conducted as and when required in coordination with HSE department.

Performance Management System (PMS)

  • Provide assistance to Group HRAD in following up with HOD for timely completion of

Goal Setting, Mid-Term Review and Final Appraisal.

  • Ensure completion of all re-designation, reassignment, promotion and increment

process/letters after Final Appraisal and also as and when required mid-term.

 Management of staff mess

 Handling Project Petty Cash

Staff Welfare

 Maintain contact with employees to proactively address complaints and grievances

and resolve the same in coordination with all concerned within minimum time.

 Ensure adherence to all required standard/statutory compliance related to employee as

per UAE Labour Laws and as per specific requirements from Client side.

 Ensure all safety personal protective equipment (PPE) are provided to employees and

employee use the same without any exception while on duty.

 Take proactive action and implement a policy and procedure to handle various

emergencies i.e. First Aid, Site incidence and accidents etc. within minimum lead time.

 Proactively assess reason for absenteeism and onsite incidence/accidents and devise

intervention to reduce the same.

 Ensure Uniforms are provided to eligible employees and they wear the same.

 Organize staff events i.e. Project completion celebrations and target achievement

parties etc. as and when required.

Employee separation and End of Service Benefits

 Counsel employee in case of voluntary separation to try and find out reason and if

possible persuade them to continue.

 Process of resignation and termination letters and completion of exit checklist/interview,

cancellation of VISA/Emirates ID/Insurance Card etc. and completion of required

statutory and other compliance for repatriation of the employee.

 Process and payout Final settlement and arrange for exit Air Ticket as per policy, within

minimum lead time.

Maintain all relevant documents, records and data either on HRIS or on standalone systems

Skills

  • Should have 5 years of minimum experience in UAE.
  • Should have experience in Steel and Construction company.
  • Specialized in blue color and White color hiring .
  • Nationality must be Indian/ Pakistani .
  • Immediate joiner would be preferable.
