- Implements approved departmental policies and procedures and ensures adherence with the processes implemented so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
- Implements the day-to-day operations assigned to the Sales function to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
- Identifies potential sales opportunities of appropriate company products and/or services to maximize revenues.
- Maintains an expert understanding of a defined range of company products and/or services so that the benefits of the same can be communicated to meet customer requirements.
- Executes the selling cycle for nominated customers from appointment through to sales closure so that sales opportunities are capitalized upon.
- Participates in bench marking company products and/or services features and performance against those of competitors so that the company is aware of market trends and can offer products/services that are competitive in the market.
- Ensures that all sales-related documentation is completed in an efficient manner to ensure that all transactions are completed within agreed timescales.
- Acts as a technical referral point for escalations and provides support and guidance to more junior sales roles on a day-to-day basis.
- Supports the team leader by providing a coaching and mentoring service to inspire and engage the team.
