Job Description

Job Purpose

This position exists to assist in the development / L2 support of technical solutions in SAP BI efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

PI serves as a subject matter expert for the SAP Process Integration in-depth knowledge of PI, CPI & ABAP Objects to develop and support standard and custom scenario & process in SAP. 

Key Accountability Areas

CPI / PI: 

•    Analyzing, Designing, Monitoring and Troubleshooting Issues of SAP Systems.

•    Responsibility for advanced incident / service requests investigation, diagnosis and resolutions where possible.

•    Changing the SAP environment according to customer needs.

•    Assure compliance with policy and procedures affecting the SAP landscape.

•    Research, identify, and formally present opportunities to increase productivity, improve quality, and reduce costs for SAP landscape support through emerging products, technologies, and best practices

•    Communicate timely status updates (both verbal and written) to team members and management

Technical Assessment: 

•    Perform technical analysis, technical scoping, and development estimates for business requirements with accurate effort estimates and low-level design on technical solution ensuring that proposed solutions and requirements are viable and can be delivered to satisfaction of the customer. Assist in the preparation of project plans for activities performed within the framework of a given project including defining technical project scope as well as preparing work plans for the project.

Solution documentation: 

•    Produce high quality technical documents on all developments and customizations within the defined deadlines to ensure documentation standards and templates are followed.

Post go-live support: 

•    Resolve production incidents during the support and maintenance phase within the defined Service Level Agreements – SLAs to ensure system stability and customer satisfaction

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Information Mgmt. Sciences & Systems
