Job Title: Senior Site Inspector

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Job Description: As a Senior Site Inspector in Abu Dhabi, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and ensure the quality and compliance of construction projects within the assigned area. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, reviewing construction plans, and monitoring the progress of projects to ensure adherence to regulations and standards. Your role will involve coordinating with contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that may arise during the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to assess compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.Review construction plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.Monitor construction progress, including the sequencing of activities, materials used, and workmanship, to identify any deviations or potential issues.Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and engineers to address construction-related concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely completion of projects.Document and report findings from inspections, including non-compliance issues, safety hazards, and corrective actions taken.Conduct site visits to verify that corrective actions have been implemented and compliance has been achieved.Provide technical guidance and support to junior site inspectors and other project team members.Stay updated with industry best practices, codes, regulations, and emerging trends in construction inspection.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience (typically 8+ years) as a site inspector, preferably in large-scale construction projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.

  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve construction-related issues.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficient in using construction inspection tools, software, and technologies.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines.
