Overview

***This position will be physically located in Iraq in support of LOGCAP***

  • Under the supervision of the Supply Manager, the Supply Supervisor directs/manages/supervises the daily operations of a supply support activity such as a depot. Provides daily guidance to all supply personnel including Warehouse, Issuing, Receiving, Turn-in Shipping sections. Directs supply personnel in the Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) and inventory control management functions. Reconciles activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviews. Prepares, complies, and submit reports on work schedule, activities, operations, and production. Confers with customer, supervisors, contractors and other personnel to exchange information and resolve problems.

  • Directs/manages/supervises the daily operations of a supply support activity such as a depot.
  • Provides daily guidance to all supply personnel including Warehouse, Issuing, Receiving, Turn-in Shipping sections.
  • Directs supply personnel in the Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) and inventory control management functions.
  • Reconciles activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviews.
  • Prepares, complies, and submit reports on work schedule, activities, operations, and production.
  • Confers with customer, supervisors, contractors and other personnel to exchange information and resolve problems.
  • Perform other duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • Associates degree. Must provide a copy of the diploma or college transcript.
    • Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Must be able to obtain a U. S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
  • License/certification:
    • CPR/AED/First Aid Certifications
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of five (5) + years of experience working in supply, inventory management, or warehouse with at least one (1) year of supervisory experience.
  • Skills:
    • Must be able to operate material handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, man lift etc.
    • Leadership and management skills, including a professional demeanor, are required.
    • Strong interpersonal skills are required.
    • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgement is required.
    • Ability to prioritized responsibilities to handle a demanding workload is required.
    • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required.
    • Advance ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written form is required.
    • High-level organizational and planning skills, so that workflow is managed and accurate is required.
    • Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook and ALL Microsoft applications is required.
  • Supervisory/Budget Responsibilities:
    • Responsible to manage hours of personnel including use of overtime for mission requirements.
  • Working Conditions:
    • Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
    • Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
    • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
    • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
