Job Purpose:

  • Manage reviews related to construction and startup sequence of ongoing projects
  • Review interdependencies for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup, identify concerns and risks, and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve interface issues
  • Review and monitor assigned construction projects, manage the project control department interface with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, and evaluate performance gaps and prepare reports
  • Develop yard readiness responsibility matrix and integrated schedule, conduct weekly review meetings with internal and external organizations, consolidate and review all data related to yard readiness, and generate reports to senior management
  • Responsible for the control and administration of all elements relating to project development and execution, ensuring implementation according to design specifications, standards, company policy, and quality management system
  • Accountable for monitoring overall construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities of the project, identifying project interdependencies and associated risks for overall readiness of the program/project
  • Leading a team of P6 Planners to develop, maintain, and performance manage program schedules through identification of emerging trends and critical path analyses.

What do they expect from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 15+ years in project management role and as an interface coordination for mega projects in shipbuilding, oil & gas or equivalent industry.
  • Knowledge in the use of PRIMAVERA (P6) planning package and conversant with Microsoft Project use is highly advantageous
  • PMP Certificate and Certified cost Professional preferable
  • Excellent use of English Language (Mandatory)
