Job Description

Our client is a leading Building and Construction company. They are now looking for a Document Controller to join them.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage all departmental documents and ensure they are accurate, quality assured and comprehensive.
  • Create and implement standardized documentation methods to maintain a consistent document management system across department & projects.
  • Ensure documents are stored in appropriate directories and repositories within the company’s document management system.
  • Implement and manage document data capture activities ensuring document metadata is correct and aligned with project standards.
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments, clients, suppliers, and contractors when necessary to ensure document accuracy and compliance.

Skills

Preference:

  • Knowledge of document management software is preferable.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and knowledge of project management software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any subject
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Document Control or a similar role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
