Job Description
Our client is a leading Building and Construction company. They are now looking for a Document Controller to join them.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage all departmental documents and ensure they are accurate, quality assured and comprehensive.
- Create and implement standardized documentation methods to maintain a consistent document management system across department & projects.
- Ensure documents are stored in appropriate directories and repositories within the company’s document management system.
- Implement and manage document data capture activities ensuring document metadata is correct and aligned with project standards.
- Act as a liaison between internal departments, clients, suppliers, and contractors when necessary to ensure document accuracy and compliance.
Skills
Preference:
- Knowledge of document management software is preferable.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and knowledge of project management software.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Document Control or a similar role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
