Job Description

Shull is looking for a Lounge Manager to work in Baghdad International Airport.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Hire, train, and manage lounge staff, including bartenders, servers, and support staff.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Plan and oversee inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies and monitoring stock levels.
  • Create and maintain budgets, financial reports, and other documentation related to the lounge’s financial performance.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring excellent customer service and resolving customer complaints.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including those related to health and safety, alcohol sales, and labor laws.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by encouraging teamwork, communication, and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as kitchen and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.

  • Proven experience as a lounge or restaurant manager, including experience managing staff and finances.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of beverage and food service standards and practices.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food.
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field (preferred)
