Pricing Appraisal | Al Futtaim Automotive | Global Fleet & Remarketing

Overview of the role:

Provide accurate Used Cars purchase prices based on market conditions and company strategy.

What you will do:

• Check appraisal report and validate refurbishment cost
• Determine vehicle sales channel according to car conditions, brands standards and market demand
• Use relevant data to define Used car purchase prices
• Review stock levels by model to determine stock coverage and price accordingly
• Provide accurate Used Car purchase price to sales executives and buyers within defined SLA. 
• Track and analyse competitor market prices and continuously update the central used cars pricing data base 
• Cooperate with estimator/buyer/sales executives and ensure the right price and gross margin for the car/deal is provided

Skills

Required Skills to be successful:

• Used Cars buying/estimator background
• Flexible working hours – 6 days per week
• Experience in used cars – 3 years
• Good communication skills 

About the Team:

In this position you will be working in a fast paced and diverse environment. You will be reporting directly to the Group used cars development manager.

What equips you for the role:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: School leaving certificate

•   Good knowledge of the UAE used car market models & prices

•   Good understanding of how to value a car based on market, mechanical & body conditions

Minimum Experience: 

•   3 years in used car purchases, sales and/or insurance underwriting 

Job-Specific Skills: 

•   Ability to buy or sell vehicles 

•   Analytical skills

•   Advanced MS Office Skills

•   Very good verbal and written communication skills in English. Arabic is an advantage.
