As an Energy Efficiency Sales Engineer, you will play a vital role in promoting and selling energy-efficient solutions to clients. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and develop new business opportunities, build relationships with customers, and provide technical expertise to support the sales process. You will work closely with a team of sales professionals and collaborate with engineering and technical departments to deliver comprehensive energy efficiency solutions to clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the field of energy efficiency and digital transformation. Conduct market research, analyze customer needs, and develop strategies to expand the customer base in the intersection of energy efficiency and digital technologies.
  2. Sales Process: Collaborate with the sales team to present integrated energy-efficient and digital solutions to clients. Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations that highlight the benefits of incorporating digital technologies for energy management. Address customer inquiries and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process.
  3. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their energy requirements and digitalization goals. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring their satisfaction with the products and services provided. Provide insights on how digital transformation can enhance energy efficiency initiatives and improve operational performance.
  4. Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of energy-efficient technologies and digital solutions, including energy management systems, IoT platforms, data analytics, and automation. Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements related to energy efficiency and digital transformation.
  5. Project Management: Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of energy-efficient and digital solutions. Collaborate on the design, installation, and commissioning of systems that optimize energy consumption and leverage digital tools for monitoring and control. Provide support during the post-installation phase, including performance monitoring and analysis.
  6. Compliance and Regulations: Stay informed about energy efficiency standards, regulations, and incentives, as well as digital security and privacy requirements. Assist clients in navigating relevant programs and ensure compliance with applicable guidelines in both energy and digital domains.
  7. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project details. Prepare reports and forecasts to track sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to the management team.
