Cartlowis looking for talented, bright, and self-driven people like you, to join its’ B2C marketplace team for immediate hiring only.

The Marketplace BDE is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of new and existing shopkeepers, large distributors, and strategic partners.

He/She will also be responsible for elements of the existing business which they will need to optimize and scale to ensure the continued growth of a category. They will work closely with various stakeholders and teams across the organization both locally and internationally.

Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes non-structured environment; the candidate will be required expected to work autonomously, taking responsibility for achieving business objectives. This role provides a real opportunity to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever-changing business climate.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct primary and secondary research to develop a TAM (total addressable market) plan.
  • Clear bifurcation of Sellers; according to potential revenue, selection, and territory.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Market segments, seasonality, and global trends/events.
  • identifying, prospecting, and acquiring high-potential Sellers to our platform through direct sales visits, events, and presentations.
  • Create and maintain a healthy pipeline of Seller acquisition to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly Sales targets.
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding cycle from Acquisition > Onboarding training > Enabling selection.
  • Work closely with marketing, merchandising, customer service, and other key internal cartlow stakeholders to drive a great customer experience.
  • Guide Sellers through sharing best practices of online selling, including data-driven insights that help sellers achieve high standards of delivery.
  • Collaborating with and influencing many internal and external stakeholders to understand and resolve seller issues.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 1-2 years of work experience is a must.
  • Experience with e-commerce merchant acquisition exposure would be a plus.
  • Exposure in consumer electronics (mobiles or laptops category) is a must.
  • Strong track record of success in managing and growing accounts.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel Skills. Advance skills in V lookups & Pivots will be a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, non-structured environment.
  • Experience using Zoho or other CRM tools.
  • Extensive experience in cold calling, prospecting and qualifying companies Demonstrated success in exceeding sales. targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach Strong analytical skills including Microsoft Excel.
