Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the project controls & Document Control staff for efficient project control delivery.
- Prepares the Project Controls plan for assigned projects.
- Provide oversight and review of the Consultant’s planning and scheduling of the assigned projects including Consultant staff plans and manpower histograms and project progress measurement, etc.
- Responsible for effective execution of Project Controls programs on the assigned program in accordance with Project Controls Department Procedures.
- Reviews contract drafts to ensure they include adequate cost and scope definition and meet Project Controls requirements. Coordinates development of all data in support of negotiations.
- Apply all planning and scheduling techniques as appropriate in accordance with the approved Project Controls/Execution Plan.
- Ensure that the Project Controls Systems provide the best possible control tools for the supervisory staff on the project to allow them to control their work efficiently
- Lead the process of capital budget determination and the effective determination of the scope of work accordingly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of planning software and techniques as used on the contract and ensure as well that the staff maintain their skill and knowledge
- Ensure that the Department Manager, project manager, and other stakeholders are aware of any potential threats to completion on schedule, and propose remedial action
- Prepare internal and client weekly and monthly project status reports
- Review of Engineering Consultants’ schedules and programs
- Develop a staffing plan and execution for the project organization to ensure the resource is available
- Prepares, coordinates, and directs Project Controls presentations to client management, as required.
- Directs project control activities. Develops, interprets, and executes policy, objectives, and standards applicable to cost and schedule control and analysis activities.
- Appraise performance of subordinates and identify/implement training and development needs
- Establish and promote good working relations with his team, project staff, and the client
Requirements:
- Bachler degree on Urban Planning or Civil Engineering or related filed.
- Minimum 11 years overall experience in a related filed
- Registered engineer with the Saudi Council of Engineers
- Preferred Certificated Project Management Professional (PMP or Prince 2)
- Knowledge of computer programs for Planning & Scheduling (Primavera, MS Project
- Advanced knowledge of computer programs for project management, preferably including Microsoft Project, Primavera, MS office, Power BI
- Analyze Projects performance and prepare reports highlighting all the potential risk and issues with project and recommend suitable solutions.
- Excellent oral, analysis and presentation skills are required in performance of this position.

- Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
