Role Purpose
The Planning Senior Specialist supports planning and development of the annual integrated marketing plan from a resourcing standpoint, ensuring that all activity is supported at an appropriate level of budget, and that DCT and Sectors build the capability to deliver.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning:
-
Supports turning audience insights into strategy based on insights created from audience research and data
-
Creates an integrated marketing strategy across all audience touchpoints
-
Researches recognized industry thought leaders to stay at the forefront of industry knowledge and approaches
-
Assist in developing a brand strategy based on building blocks such as purpose, vision, positioning and other key attributes
-
Supports analyzing customer sales funnels, taking the audience from awareness to conversion and then advocacy
-
Helps to develop a corporate communications strategy for the organization to engage with internal and external audiences across owned and earned channels
-
Helps to create overarching corporate messages to convey to key internal and external stakeholders
-
Assists in analysing behavioral traits of a customer or audience segment
-
Aids in setting SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound) objectives
-
Assists in development of robust plans to both manage and mitigate crisis and issues including mapping of potential scenarios
Measurement & Impact

Assists in creating an analytics dashboard that collates data visualized to show performance of marketing activities
-
Helps to ensure marketing activity and spend delivers a return on investment for the business
-
Assists in establishing a set of rules to determine how credit for sales conversions can be assigned to audience touchpoints
-
Helps set paid, owned and earned metrics across each audience touchpoint to verify levels of success
-
Assists in optimising campaign performance based on ongoing data and results
-
Helps to use technology-based solutions and platforms within marketing and communications activities

Carry out any other duties and responsibilities related to the role at the request of the direct manager

Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in relevant industry

Experience
-
3-5 years experience in similar role or industry

Skills

Language:

Full professional English proficiency both in speaking and writing

Arabic bilingual desirable but not mandatory
-
Skilled in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)

Administrative skills and attention to detail
-
Self-motivated with a proven ability to complete work in a timely manner

Experience and knowledge of Production processes and requirements
-
Knowledge of the Film & TV Industry in Abu Dhabi and UAE preferrable
-
Expert knowledge on rebates schemes, preferably accustomed with UAE best practices
-
Experience with business planning
-
Extensive experience with program management related to finance and policy
