Responsibilities
The Project Controls Change Management Lead is responsible for the following:
- Guide the Change Management Process at a detailed level with each project scope team and ensure proper communication with PMT members
- Track and record Potential Changes, Notices of Variation Work, and Change Orders
- Develop cost estimates for Potential Changes
- Review and verify EPC Contractors’ variation work cost and schedule impacts and identify associated risks
- Maintain the Project Risk Register including potential cost and schedule impacts and mitigation measures
- Support Project Controls Specialists with Change Management and Risk Management activities
- Coordinate with the PMT, CMT, and EPC Contractors as needed
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices to increase productivity and efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience of working on large/mega EPC projects in Project Controls as a Change Management Lead or similar role
- Strong background estimating work in the Middle East and lump sum environments
- Experience working in the Petrochemical Industry; preference in Ethylene and Polyethylene Units
- MS Office advanced skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Omega PIMS, or other third-party cost management software, is preferred
- Capable of managing multiple assignments
- Impeccable record keeping
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, teamwork, leadership, and customer focus
