- To prepare work plan and schedule
- Assign work/Job to workers and monitor progress on day to day basis.
- Inspect work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
- Ensure workers under his control follow work instruction/standards to achieve desired Quality
- Ensures that all the subordinates and contractors are aware of safe working practices and takes necessary precautions in hazardous work environment
- Coordinate with Supervisor to ensure availability of manpower, material machineries and other resources required to perform site activities
- Preparing and submitting daily progress report to supervisor/Site engineer
Requirements
- Diploma in a Civil engineering or a building maintenance qualification of equal or greater notoriety.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in Civil Construction
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
- Experience of direct line management of workers
