Job Description

Responsibilities

• Conceptualizing ideas for characters, scenes, backgrounds and other animation elements
• Creating character sketches for new animations based on design briefs
• Developing storyboards for animation projects
• Designing backgrounds, sets and other elements of the animated environment
• Developing timing and pacing of motion, based on audio requirements
• Working with the story editors to merge the various layers of animation
• Recording dialogue for the animation, where necessary
• Collaborating with other creatives including designers, photographers and other animators to finalize projects
• Creating 2D art using computer graphics software for use in animation

Skills

Proven experience with 2+ years as animator

Extensive knowledge of 2D, 3D computer-generated animation and audio integration

Extensive video and audio editing capabilities

Proficient in CGI software (Premier & After Effect, FinalCut Pro, Photoshop, etc.)

A creative storyteller with presentation abilities

Comfortable working with deadlines

Teamwork and excellent communication skills

Must be a creative problem solver
