Job Description

To provide required support to Technicians and assist in carrying out all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repair on all equipment /vehicles and plant maintained by various dnata Technical Services Workshops. This includes housekeeping and adhoc tasks as assigned. Job Outline: – Plan – Plans individual tasks on a daily basis in their area of work – Execute – Maintains good housekeeping in the workshop & other work areas and take proper care of tools. – Assists in diagnosing and repairing faults/defects effectively on equipment/vehicles and plant under breakdown ensuring that down time is minimized. – Ensures that all work-related activities carried out during the shift are recorded in the log book/work order to help planning staff log the details of work done in the Maintenance Management System. – Ensures that standard safety procedures are followed during maintenance activities to prevent any personal injury or equipment/vehicle and plant damage. – Informs the Maintenance Technician/Senior Maintenance Technician of any spare parts & tools that are needed to ensure timely completion of all maintenance works. – Assists in carrying out scheduled maintenance as per set standards (includes manufacturer?s recommendation, ISO certification requirements, safety standards, and all Legal & regulatory requirements) on the various equipment/vehicles and plants to ensure reliable/optimum utilization of the same. Assists in the daily inspection of all equipment/vehicles and plant for operational reliability & safety, to help plan for corrective maintenance and to prevent accidents in the operational area. Specific to ULD Area: – Executes all allocated tasks related to ULD Repairs/ Assembly activities as per the procedure mentioned in MOE, manufacturer?s recommendation, EASA/ GCAA regulation, and safety standards.
