- Operates process equipment in the plant including but not limited to submersible pumps, lifting pumps, distribution pumps, etc. Record plant parameters during shift.
- Responsibilities, skills, knowledge
- Knowledge of industrial equipment up keeping, cleaning standards and procedures
- Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
- Knowledge of workplace safety and equipment basic handling procedure
- Give advice to his staff on safety issues, i.e. entry into confined space, hazard of chemicals etc.
- Select appropriate Personal Protective Equipment PPE and ensure compliance with MOW safety policy.
- Have previous working experience in this kind of work
- Be a “hands on “supervisor and competent in organizing, leading and directing a workforce.
- Be able to read, write and speak in English and have good communication skills.
- Be able to provide accurate daily work progress report
- Be able to prepare the work program in the Microsoft Office Excel sheet and/ or Microsoft Office Project work program schedule.
- Computer skill and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel MS Project is a must.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, occupational hazards, precautions, and promotion of safety standards.
- Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Power Point, etc.
- Experience of managing highly skilled and technically competent teams directly and remotely
- Aware of safety and quality issues & ability to advise and enforce
- Ability to manage own and team workload, set priorities, and resolve conflicting demands
- Able to mentor and develop team members to maximum potential
- Able to apply personal development reviews and set development priorities, including training requirements
