Description”Leading bank in UAE is looking to onboard Senior Murex Front Office BA with good exposure to pricing concepts and murex front office developer exp.”
Skills”\u2022\tMinimum 5 years of experience as Murex Front office Business Analyst\n\u2022\tExtensive experience in setting up and validating Interest rate curves including for ARRs\n\u2022\tExpertise in multiple asset classes (atleast 2 of the following) such as IR vanilla and exotic derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Commodity Derivatives , FX Derivatives, Structured Derivatives etc.\n\u2022\tExpertise in terms of pricing, valuation, risk management and sensitivities including for exotic products\n\u2022\tStrong exposure to FO Modules of Murex – E-Tradepad, Simulation, Livebook, RTPM, Pre-Trade Workflow, Market Data, Dynamic Tables, P&L Notepad, FDI Templates, Blotters, Risk Matrices etc.\n\u2022\tExposure of VaR (MRA\/MRB), xVA modules will be an added advantage\n\u2022\tExperience in leading and delivering projects\n\u2022\tExperience in implementation and supporting Murex v3.1 with regards to front office capabilities\n\u2022\tExcellent knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes, front to back.\n\u2022\tExperience on implementation of both linear and non-linear products in Murex\n\u2022\tStrong analytical and problem solving skills accompanied with excellent communication\n\u2022\tThe candidate should carry a minimum relevant work experience in a Bank or I.T. Company for a minimum of 5-7 years.\n\u2022\tStrong record of stakeholder management and leadership skills\n\u2022\tStrong understanding of the financial markets, trading and banking solutions\n\u2022\tStrong knowledge of the Global Markets products and practices, front-to-end: pricing, limit checks, booking, risk management, accounting generation, settlements and confirmation generation\n\u2022\tCandidate must be technically astute and have had relevant exposure and experience with bank systems and processes\n\u2022\tStrong proven track record of liaising with stakeholders for business requirements, specification documents, testing processes and other relevant information.\n\u2022\tStrong numerical skills coupled with the ability to deliver well under pressure and tight deadlines.\n\u2022\tCandidate must display strong verbal and written communication skills.”
Responsibilities”The Murex FO Business Analyst will be required to be part of GM IT FO Squad responsible to provide IT services to Global Markets team. The squad is responsible for support, change request and projects pertaining to Global Markets. Key responsibilities of the role include engaging with business, conducting analysis, developing requirements, reviewing technical and functional design, building and testing solution, and ensuring proper closure of the different initiatives by taking ownership\/accountability end to end.\n\u2022\tAnalysis & Documentation of user requirements and transpose into Functional Specifications\n\u2022\tAct as key liaison with Global Markets teams (business and their supporting functions), IT teams as well as with the vendors\n\u2022\tParticipate actively in discussions with business, understand their needs and transform them into change or project initiatives\n\u2022\tDefine the systems and data requirements and validate the systems design and processes from functional and technical aspects\n\u2022\tDevelop and refine the various business\/functional\/testing requirements in support of the project and systems involved, working alongside the vendor if needed\n\u2022\tConfiguration of the solution as per requirements\n\u2022\tAct as the subject matter expert for Murex suite of tools used within Front Office and ensuring that all functionality of the product are installed and leveraged to its best capability within the group\n\u2022\tCreation of test plan, test cases, execution of system testing\n\u2022\tContribute to the User Training activities, through one-to-one discussion, preparation of user training guides & presentations\n\u2022\tFollow up with vendor support as and when necessary to resolve bugs\/issues\n\u2022\tEnsure technical and functional hand over of the project and changes to the relevant teams\n\u2022\tAssist in developing business and operational processes and to participate in developing system training artefacts when required”
