Supervisor, Occupational Health

Job Description

• Focal point for collecting inspections and reports from site medical staff

• Monitor FM contractor/developer health performance.

• Assist QD Occupational Health Supervisor during audits and investigations

• Assist/perform on labour camp and site health and welfare inspections.

• Assist/perform on kiosk and canteen health and hygiene inspections.

• Visit patients in hospital for Lusail progress report of significant injury on duty patients.

• Collaborate with HSE department on hygiene and welfare

• Advise HSE supervisors with regards to non-compliance of

contractor/developer health and welfare performance or management.

• Assist in the implementation of Lusail pre-employment and periodical medical program

• To be available 24hrs on call and shifting schedule

• Prepare inspection reports

• Propose rating in the reports

• Propose KPls (Key Performance Indicator)

• Take the lead and call Ambulance in case of emergency

• Provide escalation plan for different type of incidents

• Propose Response time from contractor supervisor side for different incidents

Skills

Degree in the relevant health science; Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing is an advantage

• 4+ years post qualification experience in the health, hygiene and welfare industry

• Primary health care experience

• Occupational health experience in industry (recognition of health hazard)

• Computer literate; problem solving skills; people skills, presentation skills;

able to work unsupervised; able to work as a team; must be able to speak

and write English or Arabic; able to prioritize work; good report writing skills;

able to design health promotion brochures; good communication skills. Must

be assertive to ensure occupational health, wellness and welfare
