Overview
**This position will be physically located in Qatar in support of LOGCAP**
- Reports to the Counterintelligence Screening Team (CIST) Lead. Prepares briefings in Word, PowerPoint and charts in excel for the Emergency Services Assistant Manager as required by the weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual battle rhythm. Conducts research as required on any matter mission related and prepares information paper on the same. Handles all paperwork in the processing of new badges and badge renewals for all assigned personnel, assists in safety briefings/reports, logistics accountability, purchase request, training reports, contract deliverables and other administrative areas as needed. Performs other missions as required by the Counterintelligence Screening Team Lead or Emergency Services Assistant Manager.
Responsibilities

- Assist the CIST Lead and Emergency Services Assistant Manager in creating and standardizing processes and procedures to improve efficiencies.
- Perform duties related directly to the operational aspects of the Department.
- Gathers and maintains files on data and statistics related to the Departments day to day operations and notes trends or voids to the same.
- Provides administrative support to Emergency Services Manager/Emergency Services Assistant Manager/CIST Lead to include preparing reports, preparing correspondence, proofreading, and editing documents, preparing and distributing documents, reports and other materials, photocopying, filing, and ordering supplies.
- Gathers information and prepares reports for daily, weekly, or monthly transmission. Proofreads correspondence and reports for accuracy.
- Performs other duties as assigned be Emergency Services Department leadership.
- Responsible for the scheduling of all CIST related appointments in support of the biometric screening process.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a valid stateside driver’s license with at least one year before expiration.
- Must have a valid US passport with a minimum of 5 blank pages
- Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Secret Clearance
- Experience:
- A minimum of two years of administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Word, Outlook, Excel and working knowledge of Access.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in badging, Biometric and/or screening cell desired
- Skills:
- Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Exceptional multi-tasking abilities and excellent follow-through on all assigned tasks is essential.
- Must maintain flexibility in a fluid environment and demonstrate a positive attitude.
- Intermediate to advanced English language skills (written and verbal).
- Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to treat confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to keyboard at a minimum of 40 words per minute
- Working Conditions:
- Work is generally conducted in an in area with a mild exposure to extreme climatic conditions.
- Working in a military environment brings the potential for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents.
- Employee use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas, but not on a daily basis.
- Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, vision and hearing protective devices.
- Must comply with OSHA, EPA, and Fire Regulations and published company work rules.
- Physical Requirements:
- Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, extended sitting or standing, or other physical efforts that are normally required. In addition, visual acuity, hearing and speaking requirements would be considered.
- Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents
