The work we are doing today will offer future-proofed solutions that could have far-reaching and world-changing impacts on the global water resource management.

We are seeking an experienced Sector Engagement Lead to support our Sector Objectives by cultivating and maintaining key relationships with commercial stakeholders. This position will perform a support role critical to the continued success of the Water Sector.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will work closely with the Activation & Engagement Team and relevant Water Sector departments to:
  • Understand stakeholder objectives and consolidate detailed requirements for feedback, follow-up and decision-making by the Water Sector – and vice-versa
  • Initiate and facilitate workshops with relevant teams, including agenda and goal-setting, to identify and close gaps and ensure optimization of project workflow
  • Develop and maintain detailed timelines and reporting documentation to monitor progress and ensure that deadlines are realistic, visible, and met
  • Provide status updates and manage consistent communications with all related parties to maintain alignment and communicate dependencies where needed
  • Bring creative solutions and out-of-the-box thinking to foster continuous improvement in team and project workflow
  • Track and resolve bottlenecks, escalating to Leadership as needed
  • Enhance Water Sector reputation by setting and managing expectations both internally and with stakeholders – and continually exploring opportunities to add value
  • Perform a variety of other tasks, including lead and direct the work of other team members, as may be required

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Exceptional written and verbal communicator
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate persuasively at all levels
  • Quick learner with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables
  • Ability to distill complex technical information into easily-understood, actionable points to facilitate decision making and follow-up
  • Strong time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary to meet deadlines
  • Creative problem solver, able to work under pressure in an ambitious, fast-changing and complex environment
  • Ability to accept and deliver critical feedback with maturity
  • Extremely resourceful, well-organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Diplomacy and high emotional intelligence will be essential for success

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree
  • Minimum 5 years professional work experience, with at least 2 years in stakeholder management, program management or project management
  • Experience in Design, Architecture, Engineering, Consulting, Construction or related field seen as favorable
  • Water related experience is beneficial but not essential
