Our client a multinational is looking for a Logistics Coordinator.

Job Responsibilities:

• Logistics Coordination for export shipments (responsibility: Regional (HQ))
o On daily manage all export shipments from Jebel Ali Free Zone & from factories as soon as delivery number and SI is given by the customer service team for MEA region
o Any export shipments related to the service team (Service, Parts, Technical, Controls, warranty & affiliates related ), irrespective of the mode of shipment like sea, courier, normal air, land & type of order has to be handled ie shipments w.r.t SI form the related team
o Preparing shipping docs coordinating with CS team, customer/ Affiliate, forwarder, factory & warehouse.
o Align with factory on the forwarder details, delivery numbers & docs for the shipments from factory directly to customers or affiliates
o Close coordination with CS team, factory, customer/ Affiliate & forwarder required for timely movement of shipment.
o Timely information with delivery proof, AWB or B/L copy has to be shared with CS team / Affiliate upon shipment collection.
o Coordination with certifying agencies like TUV, SGS, BV to be done for COC in line with customer requirements together with factory or warehouse.
o Review and monitor the shipments which are moved on CIF, CFR, FOB, DDP, DDU basis.
o Closely coordinate with credit team and submit all the LC, SBLC, CAD docs on time inline with company and customer requirements
o Responsible for clearing the invoices from forwarders on time and informing the payables team for payments.
o Establishing professional relationships with forwarders, periodic meetings with all forwarders & warehouse to meet our logistics needs & better rates.
o Continuously monitor and minimize the transport cost
o Regular meetings with forwarders, warehouse and understand the changes happening and update the team.
o Handling below DSM role for service team
Work order creation for
1) Project Sales
2) General Repair
3) Spare Parts
4) Commissioning
5) Good will sales
DOS & Extended warranty contracts creation
Invoicing, closing the work order & coordination with R2R for revenue recognition
o Prepare monthly KPIs and reports on the logistics role.
o Work inline with JSOX process and advising on process improvements.

• ERP System – Key User role
o Perform key user role in ERP system.
o Train the new users on ERP process and flow.
o Testing to be performed together with IT for any new development in system for logistics functions

Job Requirements:

Experience & Knowledge:
• Knowledge & working experience on export logistics for MEA region.
• Should be familiar with inco terms.
• Working proficiency in ERP system
• Excellent networking and time management skills

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Diploma/training courses in Logistics management (optional)

Skills:
• High level of negotiation skills needed.
• Proficient working knowledge of Excel and Power Point and other MS tools
• Out of the box thinking to participate in process improvements
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred:
