We have an exciting opportunity within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Group an Associate Director of Finance. This role will lead the Finance function in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and will be an instrumental player in Raytheon Saudi Arabia’s leadership team. 

The MENA region is dynamic, growing quickly and is an integral component of RMD’s long term growth and margin expansion, primarily through direct commercial sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving the deployment of the financial strategy in Raytheon Saudi Arabia including owning the annual operating plan, long range planning processes, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will also own Estimates at Completions (EACs), financial governance and compliance with all internal and external requirements, leading the financial execution for localization and offset projects within Saudi Arabia and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with relevant external counterparts.

This financial leadership role will be responsible for leading a team of ~10 talented financial professionals, coaching and mentoring members of the team at all levels, and ensuring proper staffing levels and the right skill mix needed to meet internal and external customer requirements.

This position is for an US expat and requires a 2 year assignment in Saudi Arabia with additional compensation incentives.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Drive the financial performance, working closely with Managing Director, Saudi Arabia leadership team and CONUS Program Managers to ensure financial targets are met and investment decisions are sound and in support the Company’s strategic plans.
• Work closely with the Managing Director, Saudi Arabia leadership and functional counterparts across RMD to support new business initiatives, drive profitable top line growth and ensure Raytheon Saudi Arabia meets or exceeds financial plans.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with relevant external counterparts to include joint venture partners, ministry of defense, ministry of finance, major customers and major suppliers.
• Develop business cases and return on investment analysis for investments that include, but are not limited to, capital, IRAD, joint venture capitalization, mergers & acquisitions.
• Participate in business reviews with Raytheon Saudi Arabia leadership including monthly operations reviews, pursuit reviews, and financial strategy reviews.
• Work with the Raytheon Saudi Arabia leadership team to identify and implement change initiatives throughout the company that improve core processes, productivity and efficiency.
• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals. 

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR and Advanced degree and 10 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated ability to drive financial metrics (bookings, sales, op profit, net cash, working capital, sales forecasting)
• Formal management/leadership experience – within diverse business situations.
• Experience with working and leading in a cross functional team environment
• Experience with Risk and Opportunity analysis evaluation and reporting
• Experience with Estimates at Completion (EAC’s) or similar systems and tools 
• Experience with Program costs, schedules and/or proposals 
• Experience with SAP
• Experience with Earned Value Management principles and processes 

Qualifications We Value:

• Experience with Business Warehouse, PMX, EDIT+ or similar systems 
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) 
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to balance and meet multiple commitments at once
• Confidence to interact and present to and interact with the Saudi Arabia leadership team on a daily basis
