Job Description

Job Purpose:

To work with the GHSPD in the buildup of the SPD team and structuring activities within the GM business with a focus on deploying dedicated Commodities and Energy Transition products across all clients base
Remits of products will focus on all commodities and Energy Transition products with also the possibility to support for other asset classes as requested by the GHSPD
In his role the candidate will be specifically requested to
Work with the Commodities trading team to design relevant products and support in the designe and implementation of products Work with all sales team to develop pitches, client solutions and meet clients regularly to ensure FAB deploys innovative solutions to clients (Regional, Global, FI, Corp CCB) Help industrialize our pricing capabilities. Work with coverage and relevant regions (Egypt, KSA, UK and Asia specifically) to ensure the product offering is developed globally.

Key Accountabilities:

Define and prioritize product development in line with GM product and client strategies. Active participation in the clients strategy definition including direct engagement with clients; Active participation in the product strategy definition; Lead product development for Commodities, as directed by Head of Global Markets Active role with coverage to elaborate theme based offering for clients and support coverage in the marketing effort of GM offering; Collaborate with trading and rest of relevant teams to develop best of class process, controls and governance. Member of the GM Management Committee Will also help organise and prioritise sales and trading product developments requests Revenue generation as per agreed and defined budgets

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related discipline, a Masters Degree is preferred.

Minimum Experience:

15+ years’ relevant experience in the banking sector or related fields Experience level enables job holder to provide leadership to others regarding work related systems, processes and challenges; Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives within medium to long time frames. Deep knowledge of Commodities as an asset class, including but not limited to commodity financing, structuring, physical, hedging, etc Experience in legal documentation, structures, term sheets etc required for client facing structured solutions Experience in building businesses from the ground, building teams, and working with all relevant stakeholders to do so Experience and track record in managing Capital Charges/Balance Sheet Efficiency, RAROC, etc both at desk level and for the GM business as a whole
