About the job
As a Sr. DevOps Engineer at Aspire, you will work with the developers and the IT staff to oversee the code releases, combining an understanding of both engineering and coding. From creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve existing ones, a DevOps Engineer increases productivity in the workplace.
What you’ll do
- Dockerize various systems with different technologies, such as managing supporting libraries and dependencies and importing various SDKs.
- Manage infrastructure across many different cloud providers. Create different services with AWS and Azure to manage applications.
- Follow security practices for infrastructures to implement a robust architecture.
- Configure clusters to enhance security.
- Implement a networking solution to secure the network layer.
- Configure AWS Hosted Zone and Records.
- Create Terraform scripts for different cloud providers and their services.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience working with Linux-based systems in AWS environments.
- Proficient in Python scripting and automation.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with core AWS services such as EC2, ELBs, networking services, S3, RDS, and others.
- Familiarity with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, AWS Config, AWS System Manager, and other cross-account governance services.
- Knowledge of cloud custodian or similar tools is a plus.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and experience with implementing security controls in AWS environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, are preferred but not required.
