  • Developing new recipes and modifying existing ones to create unique and delicious cakes, pastries, and sweets.
  • Preparing ingredients and baking cakes, pastries, and sweets to the desired texture and consistency.
  • Decorating and presenting cakes, pastries, and sweets in a visually appealing and professional manner.
  • Maintaining an inventory of baking ingredients, supplies, and equipment, and ensuring that they are stocked and organized.
  • Ensuring that all cakes, pastries, and sweets are of high quality, and that they meet established standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
  • Managing the kitchen and supervising the work of any assistants or apprentices, ensuring that work is done safely and efficiently.
  • Providing excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and ensuring that their orders are fulfilled to their satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with other chefs and management to develop new menu items and improve existing ones.
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines.​
