Procurement Manager

Role Purpose

Responsible for, in collaboration with Head of Shared Services, identifying and evaluating Sindalah’s need of materials and products to ensure operational continuity.

Workflow Management

  • Manage the development of a long-term vendor management strategy and monitor the establishment of professional relationships with external vendors
  • Understand Sindalah’s business requirement to prioritize products in line with the approved budget
  • Evaluate and select suppliers throughout the approved procurement cycle
  • Review materials and certification requirements to ensure the materials are products are required for the Sindalah’s business operation
  • Lead the procurement process and the supply base efficiently and effectively
  • Coordinate with the Legal Coordinator to ensure procurement contracts adhere to Sindalah’s policies and guidelines, including but not limited to the preparation of RFPs, RFQs, tenders, vendor evaluation and shortlisting reports
  • Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and systems
  • Work with NEOM services closely to efficiently and effectively develop the required deliverable to achieve Sindalah’s goals and objectives

People Management

  • Provide appropriate guidance and coaching when required
  • Oversee the planning of any human resources needs for the procurement function

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of procurement practices and regulatory frameworks, preferably in KSA
  • Background in the statistical modeling software, spreadsheets and procurement systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in procurement or other related major
  • 5+ years of experience in the procurement entity
