Job Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Review routine and Non-routine Lifting plans to ensure all information provided in the lifting plan are as per the lifting and rigging procedures.
2. Approve routine and non-routine lifting plans, drawings, Method Statements and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
3. Have a good knowledge of routine, non-routine and critical lifting Procedures, International Standards, and general lifting operation to lifting using Mobile and crawler cranes.
4. Prepare/review risk assessment to identify the risk associated with routine, non-routine, and critical lifting operation.
5. Coordinate with the approved third-party inspection company for equipment and lifting accessories inspections and third-party certificate renewal.
6. Lead and supervise the rigging team to ensure that Lifting activities are performed safely and comply with Company Procedures.
7. Provide onsite verification for general lifting operation are as per the rigging and lifting study, drawings, method statements, job safety analysis (JSA) and the approved inspection and testing procedures.
8. Ensure that all the lifting gears and lifting equipment are inspected and certified before use and that all lifting equipment used has the required capacity for the safe execution of the lifting operation.
9. Foresee and prepare comprehensive lifting plan (installation and removal) for serviceable equipment on Company Assets for on-going and future maintenance or support works. This also includes the preparation of Contingency Plans.
10. Prepare excel sheet tracking record for lifting equipment and lifting accessories.
11. Prepare Company Induction Training Modules for rigging and lifting crews.
12. Coordinate with the HSE team to ensure that all relevant safety procedures are implemented before and during the lifting operation.
13. Ensure that all rigging and lifting activities are planned and executed as per the project lifting procedure requirements.

3. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Perform any other related activities, as requested by the sections in consultation with the HoD.
Education & Professional Qualification:
• Diploma or equivalent
• Have adequate training and experience and be competent to act as an appointed person for overall control of the lifting operations.
• Have strong administrative and supervisory skills to schedule, monitor and control the lifting equipment personnel and lifting operations.
• Be trained and hold a valid certificate of competence issued by TPIA or an Internationally recognized training organization.
• Have attended minimum five (5) days training for fresh hands and three (3) days for the refreshers.
• Be in possession of both Training Certificate & Training ID Cards.
Professional Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry in a major project with good experience in rigging and lifting services, supervision of general and Critical lifting operation in the brown field operational plant, LNG installation and Petrochemical industries.

Computer Skills:
• MS Office.
Language Skills:
• Have a good command of the English language (read/write) for effective communication
Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge:
• Strong knowledge in oil and gas. Maritime industry.
• Strong knowledge of related health, safety, security and environmental regulations
• Strong knowledge of personal protective clothing and equipment
