Overview

We are seeking a Materials Advisor to join the Project Controls Group of CS Projects Department. The Project Controls Group is responsible for providing support to all concerned Divisions related to Project Cost Control, Scheduling Control, Contracts Administration and Reporting Projects KPIs. The Materials Advisor primary role will be ensuring the accuracy of materials procurement quality/quantity with timely arrival throughout the project cycle and proper interventions to mitigate any delays or needed substitutes.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:

Select, plan, purchase and expedite materials delivery to the project in a timely manner, utilize and apply tracking tools to monitor and track materials Purchase Orders, identify long lead items and filed delivery dates, and be the focal point for vendors on vendor data, inspections, tests and delivery.

Minimum Requirements

As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration from a recognized and approved program.

You will have at least three years’ experience in materials advisory jobs.
