Retail Stock Associate – Luxor ($16.50/HR)

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
It is the responsibility of the Retail Stock Associate to verify and prepare merchandise and operating supplies for the retail shop while maintaining a strong sense of pride and responsibility for the organization and cleanliness of shopping and storage areas.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Count, inspect, and prepare merchandise upon delivery in order to transport it to retail stores and storage rooms
Stock and replenish merchandise in stores following all department and visual merchandising standards
Prepare store to store transfers and return to vendor items on provided forms
Communicate merchandise and supply inventory needs to Assistant Managers/Managers and Vendors
Assist in preparing for and conducting physical inventory and cycle counts
Assist sales associates as needed with guests needs following the company’s S.H.O.W. guest service standards
Perform other job-related duties as requested
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, money handling
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
PREFERRED:
Experience in retail and/or stocking
