Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: 
•    Manage a team composed of maintainers and technicians.
•    Monitor the activity of the department employees, support and help them achieve the goals set.
•    Be responsible for respecting the safety rules in the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 
•    Coordinate the work of the team (plan priorities, optimize the adequacy of needs and resources, training, manage conflicts and motivate the team).
•    Inform and communicate (create and maintain relationships with team, relaying and disseminating information, giving meaning and explaining the decisions or solutions made).
•    Support and listen (answer the questions asked and inform their line manager, create and maintain a climate of trust within the team, support their team and promote know-how).
•    Monitor and control the activity involving the agents in the analysis of results and identify corrective actions.
•    Planning, Scheduling and implementing Preventive and corrective Maintenance programs.
•    On-site technical activities coordination (Work permit, access, support …).
•    Conduct investigations into failures and ensure implementation of recommendations.
•    Maintain the Centralized Control sub systems and provide recommendations for upgrades / enhancements.
•    Ensure reliability and security of the information system.
•    Search all useful information in the event of a reported or unreported damage.
•    Reporting and ensuring traceability (informing all those concerned, writing reports).
•    Manage the site and logistics (keep documentation up to date, manage stocks, take corrective or preventive actions).
•    Monitor and analyse the behaviour of Centralized control system components (anomalies or damage, etc.), operating conditions.
•    Undertake any other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Degree in electrical or electronics and communication engineering.

KNOWLEDGE:
•    Low current systems maintenance.
•    Electricity, communications, electronics.
•    Troubleshooting methods.
•    Team Management. 
•    Safety management. 

EXPERIENCE:
•    Fresh graduate or relevant experience in Railway industry is preferred. 
•    Centralized control ATS& SCADA maintenance environment is preferred.
