 THE LOMBARD – Grand Hyatt Amman Italian restaurant is looking for:  

 Restaurant General Manager.

The concept:

The LOMBARD is a Grand Milanese Dining Room where you can experience northern Italian cuisine in a vibrant aristocratic atmosphere modelled after a Milan Palazzo.

Since its opening, the Lombard has risen to fame in the local market, catering to the most discerning clientele. Become part of an amazing team in one of the leading dining venues in Amman.

 Responsibilities:

  • Manage a 160 seats restaurant that includes a lounge (22 seats) a central bar (10 seats) a main dining room (100 seats) and an out-door terrace (28seats).
  • Lead – train and  supervise a team of 19 employees including 3 bartenders
  • Closely work with the Chef and his team of 14 cooks.
  • Manage the Italian beverage program  (Italian wines, aperitivo, amarettos, vermouth)
  • Create a pleasant and authentic atmosphere amongst the team and with the guest
  • Develop a network of regular guest and connect with them
  • Report to the Executive Assistant Manager \ Food and Beverage

 

  • Knowledgeable in upper scale service standards (table side service, wine service etc.)
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in middle management position – Restaurant Manager Level
