Job Description

Manage a complete site installation project to ensure that all the work is completed in line with the Contract parameters and standard FPI quality requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Contract Scope

  • Ensure that the segregation of scope as per contract is noted by all parties for a smooth workflow.
  • Verify & review the company’s approved matrix to ensure proper arrangement of manpower & material for the execution of the project.
  • Raise issues regarding clause conflicts in order to provide solutions prior to project execution.

Planning and Control of Site Work Activities

  • Implement and control site execution in order to meet schedules on time.
  • Allocate sufficient manpower to ensure all tasks meet quality and productivity requirements.
  • Coordinate activities so outputs meet budget requirements and quality standard a 
  • Hand over project by following the closure process based on set targets and schedule.

Documentation & Records:

  • Have all site reports filled according to the Site Quality Plan.
  • Ensure all activities are documented by site Supervisors, Site QC and Site HSE personnel to meet company and audit requirements.
  • Produce monthly project status for management review.
  • Provide all required documentation for clients’ invoice.

Control of Tools and Equipment / Asset Inventories:

  • Ensure all tools are returned in good condition after completion of the assigned project.
  • Track vehicle usage and schedule regular maintenance for long life performance of the vehicle.

Direction and motivation of subordinates:

  • Train and motivate employees to perform their duties to the required standards.
  • Organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates.
  • Monitor work performance based on H&S Standards and client requirements.

HSE

  • Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions.
  • Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks.
  • Keep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidents.
  • Report unsafe acts, incidents or safety violations.
  • Develop a safety culture by ensuring all staff comply with HSE policies and procedures.
  • Participate in QHSE audits, incident reporting and review of QHSE performances as required.

SPAN OF COMMUNICATION:

  • Internal: Line Managers, Projects, Production, Delivery and QC Departments.
  • External: End Users, Contractors, Subcontractors, Third Party Inspectors.

JOB RELEVANT INFORMATION (BOUNDARIES & DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY)

  • Allocate manpower and activities at site.

Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical/Engineering Diploma.
  • Preferably Mechanical or Civil Engineer.

Preferred Experience:

  • 3 to 4 years of Site Supervision experience or equivalent.
  • Experience in fiber glass pipe manufacturing and installation related environments.

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Knowledge of piping systems related to fiberglass.
  • Ability to read and interpret pipe installation drawings.
  • Ability to prepare and analyze technical reports.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Leadership and motivation.
  • Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills – English is a must.
  • Good understanding of Project Management practices.
