Job Description:
The Force Manager directly supports the CJ-3 Director and is responsible for assisting the headquarters with monitoring, assessing, and managing all force requirements. Duties include providing advice and assistance to facilitate management of U.S., Joint, and Coalition Force requirements, including Combined Joint Statement of Requirements (CJSOR). Assists in managing Relief-In-Place (RIP), and redeployment activities. Supports the CJ-3 Director by assisting in the drafting of Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD), Requests for Forces (RFF), force management Operational Needs Statements (ONS), and Request for Equipment (RFE). Monitors Global Force Management actions coordinating with subordinate units, headquarters staff, and higher headquarters. Assists in the accomplishment of campaign plan specific goals as specified by the COR.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS.
Minimum qualifications required:
– Possess a military background as a U.S. Army Global Force Manager having
attained the grade of O4 or higher with an accumulation of a minimum of three
years of Combatant Command (COCOM) level experience in the field.Β
– Experience with Joint Capabilities Requirements Manager.Β
– Ability to respond rapidly and sufficiently to changing requirements,
unexpected contingencies and other challenging situations.Β
– Ability to manage available resources in time sensitive situations.Β
– Possess an active Secret clearance.
– Required to work 60 hours per week, 6 days at 10 hours per day.
– Must meet all medical requirements for deployment.
– Must attend and successfully complete CONUS Readiness Center (CRC)
training.
– Must have a valid U.S. Passport
